Crowns & Veneers

 

Traditionally, crowns are made of porcelain fused to metal. Lacking of translucency due to the underlying metal compromises the esthetics of these crowns. Nowaday, in many cases we can improve the appearace and esthetics by using all ceramic crowns. Below is an example of a patient with a composite veneer and two porcelain fused to metal crowns. These restorations were replaced with an all ceramic veneer and crowns (Empress II).
